Engraving

Engraving

Engraving onto metal is suitable for long-term requirements, similar to the etching process, this removes material from the surface.

Plastics are also commonly engraved to provide a cost effective dual colour data tag or nameplate.  2 layers plastics are used with the engraver removing the top layer exposing the core colour for contrast.

Engraving uses a cutter in a motorised spindle to carve grooves and characters, most commonly onto rigid, exterior or flexible laminates. Using CAD software, we can produce intricate designs depending on your specification.

Our 30 year tenure in topside and subsea signage mean we have developed various fixing solutions such as KISS or Adhesive to attach your plates.
