Aquasign®
Champion Environ's environmentally friendly anti-fouling subsea marking systems have been used in the oil and gas industry for nearly three decades. These products have been used on more than 800 oilfield projects globally making them the premier subsea marker solution for oil production engineers and designers.
Aquasign® has an exceptional and long lasting resistance to marine bio-fouling, making it ideal for high visibility identification, orientation and positional markings. The marker system does not utilise toxic biocides or metallic compounds; as such they are truly environmentally friendly.
It is increasingly important that routine production operations, in addition to inspection, maintenance and easy monitoring of repair works, can be carried out quickly, safely and efficiently. Champion Environ's markers systems allow quick and precise diver and/or ROV orientation and identification of vital subsea elements, and easy monitoring of the state of moveable controls.
Aquasign® is guaranteed to remain free from marine bio-fouling and highly visible for at least 30 years, the projected service life is 50 years, therefore providing an effective solution throughout the life of the asset.
Subsea markers are commonly used in following areas:
- IDENTIFICATION - valves, electrical or fluid connectors, etc.
- ORIENTATION - indicating locations or elevation levels on fixed/floating platforms, manifolds, etc.
- POSITIONAL - ROV levers, valves, chokes etc.
